Distressed Analyst (Banking/Investing Background)
The role provides the opportunity to collaborate directly with the founder of Pari Passu in generating research and analysis for our subscribers, which include top institutional asset managers, hedge funds, investment banks, trading desks, and financial and legal advisors.

Responsibilities
Prepare and write “deep dive” analysis on companies that include a detailed business model breakdown, industry dynamics, reasons for distress, historical transaction analysis of similar business for valuation analysis.
As a member of the team, you will also be expected to maintain an active dialogue with team members and follow trends in various sectors that may be relevant for your next cases to analyze.
Requirements
Past restructuring-adjacent financial restructuring experience, including but not limited to investment banking, public and private credit
Possess very strong technical and analytical skills as well as excellent written and oral communication abilities. Extensive writing is required, and excellence in written communication is a critical prerequisite. Reports are typically 10+ pages of detailed writing and analysis.
Fluency in Excel and financial modeling

Requirements
Past restructuring-adjacent legal experience, Juris Doctor
